TrusteeSteve is married to the lovely Kath and has four kids and two grandkids. “People say I have a crazy sense of ‘existence’. I’m from all over the place! Born in Sydney, Australia. Lived a little bit here and there in Australia… and also in Tasmania (!) Now living in the UK. Working in Europe. Sleeping in my bed here in Wheatley, Oxford … whenever I am not ‘here and there’! I work for a telecommunication company – who also happens to be here and there. Mostly there … thus the fact that I am thankful when I am sleeping in my bed in Wheatley, Oxford. As for my spare time, have you seen the series ‘Good Life’ – with Tom and Barbara Good? We love to pretend to be them in our spare time!
TRUSTEEBruce was Born in Sydney, and is now living in Launceston, Tasmania. “I’ve worked with Fusion (the International Movement of which SYC is a part), almost all of my working life, bar some time on local church staff, but my greatest achievement has been helping to raise and nurture 3 kids and 2 step kids who I love and who love me. In case you want to know my hero is Steve Smith, because he shows the world (and especially Poms) how to captain and to bat, and I love to read, bushwalk and tend my veggie garden.
TRUSTEELeon Collyer grew up on a small farm in Suffolk and is now the Assistant Vicar in the Whitley Parish. “My greatest achievement in life has been getting away from the family farm and following the call to ministry. I wonder if returning to agriculture with ministry might prove to be an even greater achievement… I do enjoy looking after our rescue chickens and going on adventurous walks with the family!”
